PURPOSE AND SCOPE This license states the permissions CantorWeb, Inc. grants to recipients of authorized copies of Password Cleaner, including free personal use and free recommendations and links. It also explains that separately licensed commercial branded editions are available. Password Cleaner is proprietary software and is not offered under an open-source license. Read these terms before using the software. If you do not agree to them, do not use it. A separate written agreement with CantorWeb, Inc. controls to the extent it expressly grants different rights. 2. FREE PERSONAL USE CantorWeb, Inc. grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, run, and use an authorized copy of Password Cleaner to review, combine, and clean your own password exports. This includes your own work-related account exports where your employer or account owner authorizes you to process them. It does not authorize using the software to process other people's or an organization's password records as part of a business service or organizational deployment. You may make copies reasonably necessary to run the software on your own devices and retain a personal backup. No charge or separate permission is required for these permitted uses. Your imported data and exported results remain yours. This license does not give CantorWeb, Inc. ownership of or access to your password data. 3. FREE COMMERCIAL RECOMMENDATIONS, REFERRALS, AND LINKS Individuals, businesses, and organizations may, without charge or prior written permission, discuss, review, recommend, promote, and link to any current Password Cleaner landing page authorized by CantorWeb, Inc. This includes CantorWeb's original edition, authorized branded editions, and future editions licensed by CantorWeb, Inc. These links may appear in a business's advertising, website, social media, newsletter, or list of helpful customer resources. Linking to an authorized edition does not require the referring business to become a paid licensee. This permission is for referrals and links to the official landing pages. It does not authorize hosting, mirroring, uploading, supplying separate copies of the software, framing or disguising its source or branding, rebranding the software, or representing it as created by the referrer. Do not imply sponsorship, affiliation, approval, or endorsement that CantorWeb, Inc. or an authorized branded presenter has not granted. An official link may point directly to any authorized branded edition; it does not have to point to the original CantorWeb edition. 4. PAID COMMERCIAL BRANDED EDITIONS A business seeking its own Password Cleaner branded edition and dedicated CantorWeb-hosted landing page may obtain rights under a separate written commercial agreement with CantorWeb, Inc. That agreement, not this end-user license, defines the fee, license term, hosting, approved presentation, promotion, distribution methods, renewal, and any additional permissions. A branded edition includes a dedicated CantorWeb-hosted landing page and official download. CantorWeb, Inc. exclusively hosts and controls the landing page, application, and official download delivery. Branding customization is limited to the approved business logo, brand colors, and "Brought to you by" name. Application functionality, content, design, and layout otherwise remain standard. Custom development, independent hosting, and redistribution rights are not included unless separately authorized in writing. An authorized branded edition may be promoted as a resource of the named business through its designated, CantorWeb-hosted landing page and official download service, within the scope of that business's written agreement. Such authorization does not give the business ownership of the software or authority to grant commercial licenses, sublicenses, or independently host, modify, or redistribute the software unless expressly agreed. Recipients of an authorized branded edition receive the applicable end-user permissions and restrictions; a business's separate commercial authorization does not automatically extend to those recipients. 5. USES REQUIRING PRIOR WRITTEN PERMISSION Except for the uses expressly permitted in Sections 2 and 3 or in your separate written agreement with CantorWeb, Inc., you may not: - Host, mirror, upload, redistribute, or otherwise supply copies of the application or its source code to others. - Sell, rent, sublicense, or charge for access to the software. - Bundle or supply copies with a product, client deliverable, consulting engagement, training package, or other business offering. - Offer copies as a customer benefit, giveaway, lead magnet, newsletter incentive, or other promotional resource, even if no fee is charged. - Use the software to provide password-cleaning services to others, whether as a paid service or a free service supporting a business. - Deploy the software for shared or organization-wide business use beyond the individual personal use expressly permitted in Section 2. - Modify, adapt, rebrand, white-label, or distribute a derivative version of the software, except where applicable law permits otherwise. - Remove or alter copyright, license, or attribution notices; claim the software as your own; or imply unauthorized affiliation or endorsement. Not charging money does not automatically make redistribution personal. However, merely recommending or linking to an authorized landing page, as expressly permitted by Section 3, is free even in a business context. 6. OWNERSHIP AND THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS CantorWeb, Inc. retains its rights in the original copyrightable code, documentation, and other content it owns. Receiving or using a copy does not transfer ownership of that material. CantorWeb, Inc. is the sole authority for granting commercial branded-edition licenses. This license does not grant rights to use CantorWeb's logos or branding as your own or to imply sponsorship. It does not claim exclusive rights in general ideas, methods, or independently developed software. Any third-party components remain subject to their own applicable licenses and notices. This document does not override rights granted under those licenses or rights and exceptions that applicable law does not allow to be restricted. 7. YOUR DATA AND RESPONSIBILITIES Password exports may contain readable credentials and other confidential information. You are responsible for protecting those files and ensuring that you are authorized to process them. Review the cleaned output and verify successful import before deleting or replacing original files or password records. Password Cleaner is not a password manager, backup service, or guarantee against data loss. 8. NO WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. CANTORWEB, INC. DOES NOT GUARANTEE ERROR-FREE OPERATION, ACCURATE OR COMPLETE OUTPUT, COMPATIBILITY WITH EVERY PASSWORD MANAGER, OR PREVENTION OF DATA LOSS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CANTORWEB, INC. WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE. Nothing in this license excludes liability, rights, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. 9. TERMINATION If you materially breach this license, CantorWeb, Inc. may terminate the permissions granted to you by written notice, subject to applicable law. Upon termination, stop using the software and delete copies held under this license, except where retention is required by law. 10.
