Import your cleaned passwords
Save your cleaned CSV, then import it into your existing browser or password manager. Choose the official instructions for your device below.
Keep your saved entries and passkeys. Follow the import prompts for matching entries; automatic overwrites are not guaranteed.
Check that your passwords imported correctly and that important logins still work. Password CSVs are not complete backups and do not preserve working passkeys.
After verification, remove the original exported CSVs and the cleaned CSV, including extra copies in Downloads or other folders. Delete temporary files—not saved entries in your password manager.

Do not erase your password manager or bulk-delete saved entries before importing. CSV files contain readable passwords: do not email or share them. Once the import is verified, remove temporary CSV copies and empty the trash when you are ready to permanently remove them.
Need help getting your password file?
A CSV is a simple table saved as a file. Your browser or password manager can export your saved login details into one so Password Cleaner can read them.
Password Cleaner works best on a laptop or desktop. Compatible tablets can be used in landscape. The workspace requires at least 1,024 pixels of browser width. CSV importing is disabled on smaller screens.
